Location
The well-kept hotel lies 70 meters from the sandy beach, and 70 meters from the marina as well, by the city's southern fringe.
The inner city with it's bank offices and shops of many kind is some 100 meters away.
The bigger hotel resorts are located outside the town in both northward and southward directions.

In the center, lake Voulismeni neighbours to the port, giving home to numerous tavernas, kafenions and souvenir shops on it's banks.

In  Aghios Nicolaos, life is more quiet and less hectical than in some other Cretan tourism resorts.
The town still preserves it's original Mediterranean ambiente.
Iraklion airport is 67 kms away, Sitia airport 70 kms.
With respect to the winding character of Cretan roads, transfer times from and to the airports must not be underestimated.
